Based on formal studies, the present research measures 1600 subjects (1316 valid data), and developes the Positive Mental Character Scale for Chinese School Students. The scale consistes of 6 subscales, 15 positive mental characters, and 61 items. Statistical testing shows that the scale has good stability and validity.
